Advance ticket sales are much appreciated, but there will of course be tickets available on the door.  Please remind any friends and family coming that there will be a bar during the interval.  Cash is preferred but hopefully I can work the card machine. Please ensure audience members and Cantatrice purchase drinks before doing so yourselves!

Personal stuff

Please minimise what you bring with you especially valuables.  There is little private space.  There is a small “green room” which we are giving over to Cantatrice so please put coats and bags in the kitchen but out of the way of our bar staff”.

Set up and clearing up

We may need to set out and stack chairs before and after.  Please help move chairs if you can and are needed.

Joint Concert with Cantatrice - NOTE NEW TIMINGS!!!

For those taking the coach, please be at Lewes Railway Station by 2.50pm, ready to leave by 3.00pm.  Please check in with Jane Burton.  Should you be running late please text or call Jane on 07974 069782.

For those driving, Zoe will have parking permits though she is limited by how many she receives from the  caretaker.  Park behind Drill Hall and go in and look for Zoe (be respectful if she is rehearsing).  Should she not have enough permits please park in Dukes Square car park (Denne Hall car park has a three hour time limit).  Parking in public car parks needs to be paid for until 8.00pm.  Please arrive at the hall by 4.00pm.

If coming by train it is a 10 minute walk from the Station.

Please bring water and maybe a snack or even a picnic dinner.  There are plenty of places to eat nearby after we finish rehearsing.

Venue: Drill Hall, Denne Road, Horsham, RH12 1JF.  Concert starts at 7.30pm and we would expect to end by 9.15pm.  The coach is scheduled to leave at 9.45pm – Jane will arrange with the driver where to meet.  I am sure he will be happy to leave earlier if you are ready.

Both concerts

Dress code

White tops and black bottoms with green and purple ribbons as made by the Creative Team (for which many thanks).  Please ask Fiona M if you do not have a ribbon.  Ribbons should be worn on the left.  .

 Folders

Ideally our usual folder, which for new people is: Tiger 300933 40 A4 Pocket Presentation Display Book

This used to be available in Sussex Stationers and is on Amazon as: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Tiger-300933-Pocket-Presentation-Display/dp/B0025LBAFQ/ref=sr_1_7?keywords=black+display+folder+a4&qid=1575311480&sr=8-7

Otherwise any black folder is fine and ideally should have the green and purple page kindly designed by Sarah Manktelow (also available from Fiona M).  March of the Women and I Am Woman should be off copy.

Running order

Attached.  Please print one out for your own use or ask me if you need one printed.  Please do not take the printed ones for the audience.

Royal Pavilion Banquet Concert - Don't forget your kazoo!

As discussed last night, please be at the Pavilion and ready to sing at 6.30pm (so arrive around 6.20pm).

Dress code is black with a splash of red - sparkle is great!  Bear in mind it is very cold in the Music Room so dress up warm.

If driving, parking at the NCP Brighton Theatre car park on Church Street is closest and is £7.95 for night rate after 5.00pm (£1 cheaper if paid on the app).  Be aware of the bus gates around the Old Stein as penalties for entering these are steep.

If going by train, check the trains are running as ASLEF have an overtime ban and are still striking.

Arrive at the main entrance in Pavilions Gardens under the portico.  There will be security and you will be escorted to our green room.  Toilets and usually water are available.

We will rehearse for 20 minutes or so at 6.30pm then perform for around 20 minutes at 7.20pm.  Then you will be free to leave.

The folder we recommend is Tiger A4 Display Book Presentation Folder although Q Connect also offer one - make sure you buy one with 40 pages.  Any plain black file is fine.  If you have a pocket on the front, put our concert poster on the front cover if you have a suitable folder.here is a link to Amazon:
